Luca Carnessale is a Director on H.I.G.’s European LBO team, based in the Milan office. He focuses on all aspects of the investment process, including origination, deal structuring and execution, financing, and post-closing organic and inorganic value creation initiatives.

Luca has 10 years of experience in a broad range of industries, with a focus on industrial goods, business services, and consumer and retail. Prior to joining H.I.G., Luca was an investment manager at KYIP Capital, a mid-market private equity firm, where he invested in the education and business services sectors. Prior to KYIP Capital, Luca was an investment banker at Bank of America in London. He started his career as a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group in Milan.

Luca received a B.Sc. and M.Sc. with honors from Bocconi University and earned an M.B.A. with honors from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
