Torsten is a Director at H.I.G. Realty, based in the Hamburg office. With over 20 years of experience, he works on H.I.G.’s real estate asset management team, specializing in German and European real estate.

Torsten brings significant investment, asset management, and development expertise across Europe with a specific focus on Germany. Prior to joining H.I.G., Torsten worked at Hudson Advisors, the asset management affiliate of Lone Star Funds. He began his career at Lend Lease in the U.S., contributing to the completion of Trump International Hotel & Tower.

Torsten holds a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering (Dipl.-Ing.) from the University of Applied Sciences Giessen-Friedberg.
