Richard Strachan Principal

Richard is a Principal based in H.I.G.’s London office. With 20 years of experience in the real estate, finance, and legal industries, he works on the asset management team and specializes in U.K. and European real estate.

Prior to joining H.I.G., he led the asset management of a portfolio of approximately £1.5bn across the U.K. responsible for underwriting and executing in excess of £3bn of investments and sales, spanning markets throughout the U.K. and Europe. He started his career as a restructuring lawyer focused on complex situations.

Richard holds an M.Sc. postgraduate Real Estate Investment and Finance certificate from Henley Business School.
